nylstudios™ is an Egyptian brand built on fit and fabric.

We started nylstudios in Cairo with a simple idea: good taste does not need to be loud. No oversized logos, no slogans across the chest. Just well-made essentials with the right proportions, in fabric that feels as good on the hundredth wear as on the first.

Why nyl

nyl comes from the Nile, النيل.

For thousands of years, everything in Egypt has grown along the Nile. It is quiet and constant, and it never needs to announce itself. It simply runs, and life follows it.

That is the kind of brand we want to build. We took the name of the river and stripped it down to three letters, the same way we strip our clothes down to what matters: fit, fabric and proportion. Every piece carries a little of where it comes from: calm, lasting and designed in Egypt.

What we make

Our first piece is a boxy raglan long sleeve in heavyweight 320 GSM cotton interlock, cut with dropped shoulders and a relaxed body. It comes in black, white and navy, in sizes S to XL. There is one small embroidered mark at the back neck and nothing on the front.

How we work

• Fewer pieces, better fabric. We release in small drops so every piece gets the attention it deserves.
• Designed in Cairo. Every design is developed and checked by our team in Egypt.
• Made to last. We choose heavyweight fabrics and clean construction that hold their shape wash after wash.
